Heavy snow in Amador County may result in interruption of service for some Upcountry customers. We will make every effort to provide service but the safety of our staff, customers, and your property must come first.

ACES SNOW POLICY:
* We will go back to collect missed streets as they become safe for our trucks and when personnel and equipment availability permit.
* Leave your carts out where they can be reached by ACES trucks, but out of the path of the snowplows.
* If your street remains impassable for a prolonged period of time ACES will pick up ALL of your trash on the next scheduled route day.
* If a credit is issued for a missed pickup, the customer will be billed for any trash greater than fits level-full into their cart at the next pick-up.

Amador County & California’s Organic Recycling Policies SB1383

Amador County and the following incorporated cities, Jackson, Ione, Sutter Creek, Plymouth & Amador City
have all been granted a rural exemption to the SB1383 organic recycling collection from CalRecycle.

Food scraps and food-soiled paper should continue to be placed in your trash container
during the duration of this exemption.

Although granted a rural exemption from the collection requirements, ACES Waste Services
and local governments have additional responsibilities, regardless of exemption status, to remain
in compliance with SB1383 regulations. One such requirement, which ACES has begun
implementing, is the phasing in of color coded lids/carts with required labeling.
