City of Ione Services
ACES Waste Services, Inc. offers the following services to locations within the City of Ione city limits: - Weekly curbside garbage collection service with a choice of 32, 64 or 96 gallon carts provided by ACES.
- Curbside Yard Waste collection service on alternating weeks with 96 gallon carts provided by ACES.
- Curbside recycling collection service; automated routes are offered recycle carts provided by ACES that are picked up every other week, while non-automated routes are offered orange bags for their recycled materials to be picked up each week.

Missed Pick-Up
To report a missed pick-up, contact customer Service via our missed pick-up form or by calling 209-274-2237 or toll free at 866-488-2237.
Collection Schedule- Collection service is provided on a weekly basis
- Containers must be at the curbside prior to 6 a.m. of your scheduled collection day, including holidays (except Christmas Day & New Years Day)
- Contact ACES customer service between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday for your collection schedule information.
Container Placement- Carts must be placed at the curb (or at the edge of the street for those areas that have no curbs) FACING the street prior to 6 a.m. on as level a place as possible.
- Orange Recycling Bags provided by ACES should be placed next to your garbage cart. Place all recycle materials in the orange bags.
- Carts must be spaced 3 feet apart in order for the hydraulic arm to grasp each cart.
- Carts must be 3 feet from any obstruction such as vehicles, trees, walls, fences, mailboxes, etc.
- Carts must not be placed directly beneath a tree, as overhead clearance is required.
- All garbage and recyclables must be contained in your ACES furnished carts or Orange recycling bags
- Cars parked at the curb and blocking access to the carts or extending into the clearance area will prevent servicing of your cart.

Other Information- Materials must fall freely from container when dumped. Lids on all carts must be completely closed.
- Containers may not be serviced if they are over-filled, are not accessible, or include inappropriate materials.
- The rate you pay is for a level full container; additional charges may apply if you exceed that level.
- Drivers will not collect any extra garbage unless you have made prior arrangements with the office. Contact us to make those arrangements via email or by calling customer service at 209-274-2237 or toll free at 866-488-2237.

Residential Garbage Collection in Ione
ACES Waste Services provides our customers in Ione with weekly curbside garbage collection service. Residents have a choice of 32, 64 or 96 gallon containers provided by ACES.

- Items that cannot go into recycling or yard waste carts
- Disposable diapers & personal care products
- Pet waste & kitty litter (bagged)
- Styrofoam (put packing peanuts in bags)
- Plastic bags and plastic wrap
- Food Waste
- Cold ashes (bagged)

- No hot ashes
- No Liquids of any kind
- No TVs, computers, cell phones, or electronic devices
- No needles or medical waste
- No dead animals
- No dirt, rock or concrete
- No batteries, fluorescent tubes, mercury switches, E-waste, or U-Waste

Curbside Recycling Program in Ione
Recycling is one of the best things you can do for the environment. That's why ACES offers a comprehensive curbside and yard waste recycling program. We encourage our customers to join this voluntary program. If you would like to speak with an ACES representative about participating in recycling programs available in your area, please email or call us at 209-274-2237, or toll free at 866-488-2237 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Please review the list of acceptable recycling items below. If you have questions, contact our office and an ACES representative will help you with your recycling efforts. ACES routes serviced by an automated truck are provided with a blue 32 gallon recycling cart, all other routes are provided 2 Orange Bags per week. Customers using 32 gallon recycle carts may upgrade to a 64 or 96 gallon recycle cart for a nominal monthly fee. Orange bag collection service is provided on a weekly basis on non automated routes in all areas serviced outside of the Jackson and Ione city limits. Orange Bags provided by ACES should be placed next to your garbage cart. Place all recycle materials in the orange bags.

- Flattened cereal/cracker/shoe boxes (with plastic liners removed)
- Telephone books
- Corrugated cardboard (please cut and tie into flat sheets no larger than 2' X 2' and set them beside your recycle container)

- Dirty Pizza Boxes
- Food or moisture contaminated paper products such as paper plates, cups, napkins, towels & tissues
- Waxed juice boxes or milk cartons
- Scrap metal, ceramics, Pyrex, window glass, mirrors or light bulbs, dishes, safety or auto glass
- No non-container plastic such as plastic bags, plastic wrap, hoses, toys, plastic plates, cups, straws
- No Styrofoam cups, food trays, packaging or packing material
- Rag clothes
- Packaging, liners, paper dishware or utensils
- Blueprint or carbon paper
- Metallic or plastic paper products
- Rubber bands
- No needles or medical waste

Yard Waste Collection in Ione
ACES Waste Services provides our customers within Jackson & Ione city limits curbside yard waste collection service and recycling collection on alternating weeks (see Calendar for schedule). Yard Waste must be placed in your cart loose, without bags or boxes. Containers
